We have left Northern Michigan are now working our way south. Our first night we stopped at Shipshewana South Park in Shipshewana, IN. Shipshewana is of course in the heart of Amish/Mennonite country. This means cool little shops and great home style restaurants. Indiana is also the birthplace for most major motorhomes and RV’s. So there are some great factory tours, and motorhome salvage yards.
As to Shipshewana South Park, this is well established campground that does not have a lot of amenities but works just fine for a big rig. Nice large pull-throughs and easy in/out interest. A good place when in the area.

What we did while we were here
We did eat out while we were there at the Blue Gate Restaurant. The Fried chicken was good but not great so I hate to recommend it on this blog.
We did go check out Bontrager’s Surplus. It is one of the largest RV Salvage yards in the area. If you are looking for surplus parts for your motorhome they will likely have it.
Nice little park for stopover to check out the Amish country and all the RV manufacturers
