We were on our way back from the American Coach National Rally at Ocean Lakes Campground in Myrtle Beach and needed a good place to Stay in Augusta, Ga. We stopped at Heritage RV Park for the nite. It was a great little campground that we would come back to in the future when in the Augusta Area
Heritage RV Park is a transitional park that used to have a lot of long termer’s staying there. The owners have gradually been switching it to more of a transient park. This is a no frills park but it is very, very easy to get with wide dirt road and it has very nice large level spots that a big rig can get into. We got great 50 amp power as well as water and sewer. I am not sure I would want to stay here for weeks at a time but besides the dirt roads there is little negative we have to say about the place. There is 1 pull through space and all the rest are back-in’s

Site quality = 3.5/5
For a 1 nite stay this park was just fine. There is 1 pull through spot in the front of the park and all the rest are back in.s The lots are level with a gravel foundation and a concrete porch with a picnic table beside them. It not exactly roomy but they give you plenty of room for an overnight stay. We got good power, water and the sewage worked as well. We have no coverage above us so we got good satellite. The Internet worked sort of (but not perfectly).
We would definitely stay here again traveling through to to Augusta, Ga
Pet friendliness = 2/5
The park never asked us anything about how many animals we had and I did not see a dog park on property. There might have been a leash rule but everyone pretty did not have there dogs on leash. We did walk the dogs around but it is a small spot so no hiking trails or anything like that.
Overall rating = 3/5
BONUS ALERT = Small park worthy of a 1 night stay
Simple park with level lots but dusty roads. Easy to get in and out of and convenient to the highway. We would stay here again if traveling through or to Augusta, Ga
