As we spend time in our Class A motorhome, we have always felt like we have enough space as long as every once in a while we can get out of the bus and stay on regular non moving land. As we move more toward Full-Timing we have been thinking that a fifth wheel might give us more room with more options. There are definitely positives and negatives on both sides.
In our investigation, we have been leaning toward something in the 40-44 foot range. Probably from DRV or New Horizon’s. A good friend of mine sent me a link yesterday to Spacecraft’s line.
All I have to say is WOW. I did not know they were building them this big. I am not sure we would ever consider it but still WOW! These babies are being created up to 57 feet and weigh in at over 40,000 lbs. They are built on chasis similar to our A class Motorhomes. Well worth a watch on the video
Anyone have any experience with them? Do you think you could find places to park it? 🙂

Actually it looks like the Spacecraft fifth wheels are built on semi trailer frames. Nothing super proprietary there. Good luck trying to get that into that park in Alabama!!!!
Agreed – Good luck in getting that into any park anywhere! But still sets the bar for size 🙂
